Local transport

Local transport, except from and to the airport, is not included in your responsible holiday fee.

Public transport is an ideal way of touring the country.

The local busses are frequent, cheap and can take you almost everywhere. However, the roads are bad and traffic is slow, so don’t ask a driver how many miles it is to your destination, but how many hours.

Travelling by train is a must! Especially the train through the hill countries are not to be missed. You’ll be travelling through some really amazing and beautiful nature, tea plantations and stunning views.
