The first days
The first couple of days are sometimes really hard. Some of us just walk in and feel right at home whilst others need more time to adjust to the new surroundings, the people, the food etc.
However, most people will quickly get into the rhythm of things and with so much to do there isn’t a lot of time to get homesick.
Some people like staying as far away as possible from other holiday makers, whilst others are the opposite. When booking it is important to consider what you prefer: others or alone on a project?
LEO Project Foundation works with a couple of other organisations and we do share a number of projects. This makes it possible for us to make sure that there are other holiday makers around if you wish, even if we don’t have additional bookings at a particular project ourselves at the time.
And just in case you feel the need to phone home for some moral support or to simply make them jealous of your splendid responsible holiday we get you a pay-as-you-go sim card for your mobile phone you can use during your stay!
