Get involved
At LEO Project Foundation we need your help to raise funds for our projects. How you can help and raise money, either from home or by going to Sri Lanka? Please read on…
Adventurous sponsored activities in Sri Lanka
If you have a week to spare and feel that you want to enjoy Sri Lanka and get firsthand experience of what we actually do, whilst raising money for a good cause, then a sponsored walk, hike or
bicycle ride would be ideal.
Sri Lanka being a tropical island has an enormous bio-diversity, from butterflies, snakes, crocodiles, birds of prey, various types of monkeys to the home of thousands of various trees and an ancient palace regarded as an international heritage site.
The best way to experience Sri Lanka is by cycling or walking. Travelling in a car on the bumpy roads and being rocked from side to side is needless to say is not pleasant.
When you go cycling you get to truly experience the culture, meet locals of various villages and enjoy some home cooked meals which vary from village to village.
Click the links in the above text or the links on the left hand menu to find out more about sponsored walks, hikes and bicycle rides.
