Hike for charity

If you have a week to spare and feel that you want to enjoy the country and get firsthand experience whilst raising money for a good cause, then a sponsored walk or a sponsored hike would be ideal.

Sri Lanka offers a wide variety of hiking and walking activities. Most memorable are the Adams Peak Hike with its stunning sun rise and the Horton Plains walk where you will literally balance at the World’s end.

Walking at Horton Plains – 4 days

Located in Sri Lanka’s highest plateau between altitudes of 200 and 2300 meters Horton Plains nature reserve has some spectacular views. You can hike in this 10000 hectare area of land which is home to flora, 57 species, 29 endemic to Sri Lanka and also home to 24 species of mammals. For bird enthusiast there are 84 varieties of birds, 14 endemic to Sri Lanka including many migrating birds.

Flight- there are various deals on flights that are available to suit individual needs, from around the world deals to single return flights. We have left the cost of your flight out so you can choose which ever option you personally prefer.

Visa- Upon arrival you receive a 30 day visa. However we will provide you with comprehensive advice on how to extend it using the current Sri Lanka immigration guidelines.

Travel Insurance- Many people have organised aditional activities on top of their charity activities and thus organised their own travel insurance, therefore travel insurance had been left out of the price.
