Come help at the Sea turtle conservation project

The most important thing about the turtle conservation project is that you, as a volunteer, are involved in protecting these beautiful, but endangered species.

At the sea turtle conservation project you and other volunteers will be involved in making a log of the different types of turtle eggs collected from the fishermen, burying them, feeding the turtles and cleaning the tanks.

You can also get involved in counting the new hatchlings and making a note of the different varieties of turtles.

A typical day volunteering with turtles starts in the morning and will take about 3-4 hours.

After lunch volunteers have the option to stay at the turtle conservation project and act as a guide to the tourists, help in various community development projects, and teach English to the Buddhist monks or children.

After sunset you can experience the highlight of the project by releasing the hatchlings in to the sea which really is a breath taking moment.
